Association of American Geographers (AAG)
Is the flagship organization for geographers. It publishes two major journals and organizes an annual meeting. It is also a good resource page for careers in Geography and ES. Students are welcome to join. |

Association of Pacific Coast Geographers (APCG)
Is a regional organization for geographers covering the Pacific coast of the U.S. and Canada. It publishes a journal and its annual meetings are small and intimate. |

Is a government organization that supplies environmental information, environmental stewardship services, and applied scientific research on ecosystems, climate, weather, and water. |
California Geographical Society (CGS)
Is the oldest statewide organization devoted to enhancing the understanding of geography as well as promoting interaction amongst academic and applied geographers, as well as members of the general public who share an interest in geography. |
