HONORS IN THE MAJOR
Students majoring in environmental studies are eligible to receive honors in environmental studies at graduation if the following conditions are met:- At least one-half of the course work required by the major is completed at this university;
- At least a 3.5 grade point average in the major, both at this university and overall;
- An overall undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 ("B") or better;
- Completion of a senior project approved in advance by the program coordinator. Students interested in receiving this recognition must initiate the process by making a formal application with the Geography Department administrative support coordinator.
