We offer a B.A. in Geography and a B.A. in Environmental Studies. We also offer two certificates: Urban Planning and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Our B.A. in Geography, General Track covers a wide range of topics such as physical geography, mapping, GIS, remote sensing, regional studies, urbanization, and ecology. The broad and synthetic nature of this degree makes it ideal for a wide range of careers in our region and elsewhere.
Our B.A. in Geography, Global Studies Track addresses the importance of understanding the causes and consequences of globalization. It focuses on processes that determine characteristics and interactions within and between countries and/or global regions.
Our B.A. in Environmental Studies, Track A is a multi-disciplinary degree with courses in Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Health Sciences, and Geology. Its purpose is to prepare students for careers in most environmental fields.
Or B.A. in Environmental Studies, Track B is a science-intensive degree that prepares students for careers in environmental monitoring, policy, and consulting.
Along with our B.A. programs we offer certificates in Urban Planning and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Both certificates provide specific professional/vocational/career competencies. They are designed to provide students with the most up-to-date technical and administrative skills needed in the job market.
